Terms of Service

The service

TutorPing is a lead generation platform for independent tutors. It monitors publicly available online communities for posts from people seeking tutoring services, scores them for relevance, and generates draft responses. By using TutorPing, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You create an account using Google sign-in or email/password. Each account represents one tutoring business. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

How TutorPing works

TutorPing monitors publicly available posts on platforms including Reddit, Craigslist, Facebook public groups, and public forums. We do not access private content, bypass login walls, or scrape content that is not freely accessible. TutorPing generates draft responses based on your tutor profile — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and posting responses yourself.

Your responsibilities

When using responses generated by TutorPing, you agree to: review and edit drafts before posting (you are responsible for what you post), comply with the terms of service of any platform where you post (Reddit, Facebook, etc.), represent yourself honestly in all responses, and not use TutorPing for spam, misleading outreach, or any purpose other than legitimate tutoring business development.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: create multiple accounts to circumvent limits, use automated tools to interact with TutorPing beyond normal usage, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the platform, or use the service for any illegal purpose.

Generated content

TutorPing uses artificial intelligence to generate draft responses. While we strive for quality, generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any content before posting it. TutorPing is not liable for consequences arising from content you post on third-party platforms.

No guarantees

TutorPing does not guarantee that you will acquire students, receive a specific number of leads, or achieve any particular business outcome. Lead quality depends on your subject, location, market conditions, and the volume of relevant posts in monitored communities.

Pricing

TutorPing is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance. Free features available at the time of your signup will remain available for the duration of your account.

Data and privacy

Your use of TutorPing is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your tutor profile is used to personalize lead scoring and responses. We do not sell user data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party platforms

TutorPing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Facebook, Craigslist, College Confidential, or any other platform we monitor. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any platform where you use TutorPing-generated content.

Limitation of liability

TutorPing is provided "as is." We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: loss of business, account suspensions on third-party platforms, or inaccuracies in generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive usage patterns. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.

Intellectual property

The TutorPing platform — including its design, code, algorithms, and branding — is owned by Lexicor. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without written permission. Generated response drafts are yours to use freely once posted.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
